Save the planet for future generations

The battle in the public, whether the climate change is real or not is over. Globally, governments and industries are investing resources and billions of dollars in finding solutions to the growing problems we all as human beings are facing on our planet. Whole new industries, educations, public and private institutions are in the process to be established opening the doors for innovative people with new ideas and a desire to play an active role in finding solution to the problems.
But the major power behind the effort to save the environment needs to come from us the people, who need to be educated about the issues, witch will have an major impact on our daily life. True to the tradition, since the foundation of the Danish Folkehøjskole back in the nineteenth century, its now the time for this institution to get involved on a larger scale with the goal to increase the populations knowledge about energy, the environment, the climate and entrepreneurship.
This is the background for my initiative to start Energihøjskolen, playing an active role in the education and information process and thereby involving the population in the common effort to save the planet for future generations.
